Tamarstone Meadow Campsite.
Camping at Tamarstone Meadow campsite couldn’t be easier with vehicle access directly off the A3072 Bude to Holsworthy road.
Our extra large pitches can be reserved in advance which we always recommend to avoid disappointment however it is possible to turn up and camp if we have an available pitch. Our campsite guests can have electric hook up if required and camp on a level to gently sloping grass meadow, we also have two hard standing pitches.
We also welcome campervans wanting an overnight stop year round subject to availability
Adjoining the campsite is our one acre woodland ,which via a woodland path leads down to the river Tamar. Fishing is available from here and is free for Tamarstone Farm users with appropriate licenses etc. However we cannot guarantee a catch as when rainfall is low the river here is very shallow.
Fire braziers for those all-important camp fires can be hired for £5 night for the first night which includes a bag of wood and then £2 per subsequent night.
Tamarstone meadow campsite washrooms with two showers and four toilets have been newly refurbished and offer clean facilities styled on a beach hut theme which will not disappoint and be hard to match elsewhere .
We also have an indoor dishwashing area and baby changing facilities for your convenience. Surfers are welcome to stay at our campsite and we have an area for washing down surf boards and wetsuits can also be hung when not in use. Tamarstone Meadow campsite has a large “chill out beach room” equipped with table tennis , table top football, games, books, soft seating and a dining table and chairs. Smaller children are also provided for with toys and their own seating. The Beach room is also the ideal place for making friends or escaping from wet weather and of course entertaining the children who must be adult supervised at all times whilst using the Beach room. A freezer is also available for campers use and a plug socket for charging mobiles etc. Picnic benches and outdoor seating have been strategically placed within the grounds for your enjoyment of our panoramic views of rolling countryside.
Dogs are welcome, however they must be supervised & kept on a lead at all times and must not be left unattended if you are off site. It is the owners responsibility to clear up after dogs at all times. All dogs must be well behaved and not listed under the dangerous dogs act 1991.
We do not charge any extra charge for gazebos or awnings etc,
