A little bit about Tamarstone Farm...

Tamarstone Farmhouse is of traditional Devon cob construction, built around 1800 and was originally thatched. Changes to the property have been made over the years but it still retains many of its original features.

In the Summer  of 2014  we made the life changing decision to leave our  comfortable Berkshire roots and move to rural  Devon countryside . Within  five months we had sold our house, left our secure  jobs  and bought Tamarstone Farm ,ready to take on a new challenge.

We offer  a  campsite surrounded by farmland  in a rural area but also close to the beautiful North Cornwall coastline
We are situated off the A3072 at Pancrasweek Devon , down a leafy lane on the border of Devon and Cornwall between Bude and the market town of Holsworthy, the opportunity to discover both counties is within easy reach including the Eden Project a must visit attraction.
At Tamarstone Farm we have 2.5 acres of meadow and woodland to explore and bordered by the River Tamar . Wildlife here is plentiful, Buzzards and owls are frequently seen  and heard as  are Woodpeckers and many other smaller birds . Deer have also been seen, within the grounds.

The night sky on a clear night is especially beautiful  for star gazing.

Tamarstone Farm is also proud to be a supporter of  CHICKS  a registered  charity which provides free , week long respite breaks for disadvantaged children from across the UK.  By raising funds through  donations and selling kites to guests we hope to help raise some money for this very worthwhile cause.

We are also ticket agents for the Eden Project which is cheaper than buying online tickets and gives  the freedom to enjoy as many visits as you like within the year at no extra charge.
